Joel Padfield is beginning his 15th season with the Evansville Otters as Vice President, Sales. Hired as a part-time account executive in 2003, Padfield has served in various roles for the Otters including Director of Sales and General Manager from 2012-2015. In 2013, he was named Frontier League Executive of the Year, helping the Evansville Otters receive the Commissioner's Award of Excellence for Outstanding Achievement in Increasing Attendance. As Sales Manager in 2016, he set the all-time single season individual sales record for the Otters. Prior to professional baseball, Padfield had a career as a professional golfer. He won the 1987 Indiana State Amateur Golf Tournament. Padfield qualified for the 1990 US Open where he proudly birdied the 17th hole on both days of play. He is a graduate of Ball State University with a degree in Marketing. Indiana born and bred, Padfield now calls Madisonville, Ky. home where he resides with his wife, Christy and son, Blake.
