Sally Smith is starting her tenth season with the Evansville Otters as the Host Family Coordinator. An Evansville, Ind. native, Smith has a background of working with non-profits. She owns her own business, assisting families and individuals with simple solutions to nutrition. With the Otters, she works with volunteer families interested in hosting a baseball player for the duration of the season and coordinates with team management assigning players and families. "The Evansville Otters not only provide a quality team on the field, but they also bring families and friends together at the ballpark," Smith said. "The time spent outdoors, with limited distraction from technology, is valuable to the growth of relationships and communities." Smith also has been an Otters' season ticket holder for 18 seasons. She and her husband, Randy, reside on the Westside with their two mastiffs and cat.
