Zane Clodfelter is starting his tenth season with the Evansville Otters as the team's public address announcer. An Evansville, Ind. native, Clodfelter graduated from Harrison High School in 2008 and received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Southern Indiana (USI) in 2013. Since 2011, Clodfelter has served as the Otters’ public address announcer at Bosse Field and in 2017, he began an expanded role in managing the team’s social media accounts and website while working as the team's Communications Manager. In that role, he helped create the Otters Digital Network, a multi-camera streaming platform, for home games while also implementing new social media strategies. He later served as the team's Media Relations Manager during the 2018 season. Clodfelter currently serves as the USI men’s basketball public address announcer at Screaming Eagles Arena and University of Evansville (UE) women's basketball public address announcer at Meeks Family Fieldhouse during the offseason, in addition to his public address work for USI baseball and UE soccer, baseball and softball. He got his start in public address announcing as a freshman in college, announcing football, basketball and baseball games for his high school alma mater, Harrison. Clodfelter has been the sports editor at the Spencer County Journal-Democrat in Rockport, Ind. since 2014. Clodfelter has also been a licensed IHSAA basketball official since 2008.
